Welcome to Troop 758 and the fun world of scouting, the best program for a boy in Grade 6 and older, and his family!
Where and When Do We Meet? Troop 758 holds a weekly Thursday night Troop Meeting in central Nagoya. The troop also plans one to two outdoor activities a month.
How Do I Find Out What’s Going On? Troop 758 uses Scoutbook for management. We also use Messenger chat, and have a closed Facebook page for members to share information and photos.
What Kind of Activities Do You Do? Troop 758 enjoys a variety of activities including hiking, campouts, community service, merit badge studies and more!
Where Will My Son Fit In? When your son joins our Troop as a new Boy Scout, he will join a patrol where he will learn basic scouting skills and start work on the Trail to First Class. Scouts transferring in from a different Council or Unit will continue scouting with the current rank. If an achievement report is provided, National will be contacted to transfer all records. The Patrols are led by the scouts. This gives the boys responsibility and leadership opportunities.
What Does My Son Need? A desire to do fun and cool stuff, a uniform, and a smile!
What Does It Cost? Troop 758 tries to keep costs to a minimum, and soon the scouts will be working on fundraisers (bake sales, etc.) to help achieve their goals. See below for more details.
How Can We Sign Up? When you are ready to join the fun, please contact the Scoutmaster, Committee Chair, or the New Member Coordinator for Application Forms and details. Scouts require a Youth Application (online), and Adults must complete an Adult Application (online if you have a SSN, or on paper if you don't) and Youth Protection Training. Troop 758 asks all adults to please participate in a leadership or committee role. Click here for the Forms.
Whom Should I Contact? Please always feel free to email our Scoutmaster or New Member Coordinator at any time. [email protected]
