“A Scout smiles and whistles under all circumstances.”

Welcome to BSA Unit 758! Our unit was started in 2015 to provide youth in the Nagoya and Chubu area a chance to experience scouting in an English environment. We are currently entering our ninth year of scouting. We've had more than 60 Cub Scouts join us in activities, and our Troop has had supported six scouts earn their Eagle Scout rank, scouting's highest rank.
Cub Scout Pack 758 is a family-friendly program designed for boys from Kindergarten to 5th grade. The Cub Scouts meet with their den once a month, and all Cub Scouts gather for a Pack meeting held once a month. See the Pack 758 page for more details. Boy Scout Troop 758 is a youth-led program open to all boys regardless of nationality who are 11-17 years old, or who have completed the fifth grade or earned the Arrow of Light Award and are at least 10 years old. The Troop holds weekly meetings where they work on skills, plan activities, and build friendships. An outdoor activity, such as camping, hiking, or biking, is held once a month. See the Troop 758 page for more details. The Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts are open to children of all nationalities ages five to seventeen. All the children need is a basic command of English to follow the English-led activities, and a desire to have fun learning new things and adventures. Parents also play an active role in helping the scouts and units. Calling for volunteers! Are you an Eagle Scout? Do you have a skill you could teach our Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts? We'd love to have you visit and share your expertise with us! Please contact us at [email protected]. For information on Cub Scouts, please check the Parent Packet on the Pack 758 page. For Boy Scouts, please check the Parent Packet on the Troop 758 page. We look forward to all new families joining our scouting adventures! |
